There are countless types of international relationships. In fact, professional international succession planning by a lawyer specializing in international inheritance law should be carried out for most international relationships, e.g. in the case of residence, assets or permanent residence abroad.

International succession planning is highly advisable and can make the subsequent settlement of an estate abroad or for a testator whose last place of residence is abroad considerably easier, faster and cheaper, e.g. in the case of

• a vacation property in France, Spain, the USA or even Asia,
• a foreign nationality of the deceased, their spouse or their heirs,
• a long stay abroad, such as the posting of employees abroad,
• the deceased moving abroad with their family,
• and a foreign domicile of possible acquirers by reason of death.
